A mixed-use 5-story, 173-unit senior living facility and preschool/childcare center. This project included an extensive playground design incorporating natural play events and utilizing a combination of natural materials such as timber, rock and sand, while integrating commercial play structures. Our firm coordinated and designed a custom layout for the specified structures and programmed specific sequencing for play events. We worked with the developer and contractor to integrate the play area into the newly developed site and reinforce thematic and material connections to the surrounding sites’ fixtures, walkways, and public trail access.
