We were the lead civil engineer and landscape architect for the Elmwood, a 5-story, mixed-use luxury apartment building with ground floor retail and a large outdoor recreational area designed to support and improve green space coverages in the overall district and planted more than 800 new plants and trees. A key design element of this project included programming a flexible city streetscape which integrated the new building into the urban environment, while incorporating future city infrastructure improvement plans to develop a pedestrian bike lane.
