The development of this three-story orthopedic and ambulatory surgery center in Eagan represents a sophisticated integration of modern medical facilities within a preserved natural landscape. Situated on a prominently located and heavily wooded site, the project required a sensitive design approach to maintain the environment's character while supporting a high-capacity healthcare operation. A primary design objective was the creation of a park-like entrance experience that utilizes the site's natural beauty to provide a calming arrival for patients. We implemented intuitive wayfinding through strategic site planning and landscaping, ensuring clear navigation from the moment visitors enter the property. To meet the intensive parking requirements of both patients and staff while minimizing the project's physical footprint, the site design incorporates a large surface parking lot complemented by a secure underground parking structure. This balanced approach ensures maximum accessibility and convenience without compromising the wooded aesthetic of the prominent Eagan location.
